Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Stayroid collects when you book or host a stay in Pakistan, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Stayroid website, apps and host portal.
Information we collect
Account details such as your name, phone number and email address; booking details including dates, guest counts and messages between you and your host; and payment information processed by our payment partners. We never store full card numbers.
How we use it
To confirm bookings, send confirmation codes, process payments and payouts, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve search results and pricing guidance for hosts.
Sharing with hosts and guests
When a booking is confirmed, we share the guest's first name and arrival details with the host, and the property address with the guest. Phone numbers are shared only once a stay is confirmed.
Confirmation codes
When you log in we send a one-time code by SMS or email. Message and data rates from your mobile operator may apply. Codes expire after ten minutes and are never shared with hosts.
Data retention
Booking records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Account data is deleted within 30 days of you closing your account, except where we are required to retain it.
Your choices
You can review and update your details in account settings, download a copy of your data, opt out of marketing messages at any time, and request deletion of your account.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember search filters and currency, and measure how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
